The Stephen Doughton Jr. Foundation is a private non-profit founded by Stephen and his family in 2008.
In May 2006, Stephen was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). He was treated at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (WFBMC) and is currently in remission. After enduring the horror of being a cancer patient and witnessing young children battling cancer, Stephen and his family decided to start a foundation in 2008. Since then they have raised over $400,000 for leukemia research and patient assistance. 2024 Golf Tournament
